Nour-ish: verb [trans] to supply with what is necessary for life, health and growth
Nour-ish is dedicated to rebuilding the health of our society – to increasing energy levels, balancing moods, reversing weight problems, restoring digestive capabilities, improving sleep, strengthening immune systems – one depressed, overweight, constipated, tired, sneezing person at a time! Seriously!
When you meet with Marina she will assess your individual lifestyle (activity level, dietary habits, stress and, work) and give recommendations based on the results of her assessment that will nourish your body, mind and soul.
Every individual is unique, so the same foods that make one person thrive can make another ill. By looking at the whole picture (nutrition, lifestyle, exercise, stress, etc), embracing the individuality of each person and by encouraging lifelong changes, it’s possible for disease to be prevented and for quality of life to be improved. Yay – life!
Eating shouldn’t be complicated. It is one of the most natural and fundamental acts humans take part in to survive. But, for the reasons mentioned earlier it’s turned into a convoluted mess when what we really need is to get back to the basics – to real food and traditions. Nour-ish is based on simple and natural principles, where concepts like “fresh”, “organic”, “ethical”, “local” and, of course “delicious” are paramount!
Eating should also be enjoyable and memorable! We, as a society, have drifted away from this aspect and are eating, very often, alone and on the run. Food is far more than something that gives us energy to get from point A to point B and nour-ish is dedicated to shining the spotlight on all of the little joys that come from eating!
You may need a little nour-ishing…
…if you experience any of the following:
- digestive difficulties
- sleep problems
- eating disorders
- bone/joint discomfort
- weight gain/loss
- mood imbalances
- lack of energy
- frequent colds/infections
- general lack of health
Or, you could feel just fine but want to feel fantastic and learn what else you could be doing for your body. Whether you’re a teeny, tiny baby (you’re very gifted if you’re reading this), an athlete, an expectant mother or a great-great grandmother, we could all use a little nourishing from time to time.
